This is the world premiere production of Rachel Bonds’ Curve of Departure at South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa. In the play, a family gets together for the funeral of Cyrus. He is either the son, ex-wife or father of the characters in the play – all of whom he removed himself from years ago. Set in a hotel room, the play examines the ties that bind (or don’t) as each of the characters faces his/her own future.
