With Halloween fast-approaching it also means that the tradition of Día De Los Muertos is here, too. The Los Angeles Master Chorale is celebrating “day of the dead” with a concert of choral music that celebrates both life and death. There are ten pieces on the program including “La Muerte Sonriente” written by Diana Syrse who just had a world premiere with the LA Philharmonic as part of the CDMX series. The music will be from various parts of Latin America. María Guinand will be conducting this concert which takes place October 29th at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
