This weekend we celebrate Martin Luther King Day. Los Angeles-based dance company Lula Washington Dance Theatre commemorates the holiday with three different performances this weekend at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.
The three performances are broken down as follows:
Thursday is African-American Male Voices
Friday is Dance, Jazz and Social Meaning
Saturday is Movement for the Soul of It.
Marcus L. Miller and his Freedom Jazz Movement Band will accompany the dancers at each performance.
