You’ve got two great options in jazz for your Thursday night. If you like your music big and swinging, you’ve got the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra at The Soraya at the Valley Performing Arts Center. But if you like your jazz smaller and with vocals, then perhaps you’ll want to check out Kathleen Grace at the blue whale in Little Tokyo on April 5th.
Grace will be performing with Larry Goldings on piano and David Piltch on bass. Here’s a sample of what you might hear:
