Sometimes when celebrities write their autobiographies they have some pretty outlandish things to say. With this show those delicious morsels of absurdity are read aloud by a cast willing to make light of excerpts from books by everyone from Streisand to Oprah to Ricky Martin to Sylvester Stallone. The cast for the two performances this weekend is scheduled to include Laraine Newman, Jennifer Tilly, Steven Weber, Sheri Shepard and the show’s creator Eugene Pack.

July 22

Rinde in the title of this show is Rinde Eckert. Eckert is a writer/composer/performer whose works include And God Created Great Whales. Ellen is Ellen McLaughlin who is a playwright and actress probably best known for originating the role of the angel in Tony Kushner’s Angels in America. Joining them will be poet Allison Joseph and film director and writer Edoardo Ponti. These four unique talents team up for an evening where all of their various disciplines will combine for a one-of-a-kind way of telling stories.
