There’s another great classical music night at the Hollywood Bowl this week when Chopin & Prokofiev are on the program Thursday night. Ludovic Morlot will lead the LA Philharmonic in a concert that features Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in E Minor and Prokofiev’s Symphony #5 in B Flat Major.
Venezuelan pianist Sergio Tiempo is the soloist for the Chopin. The preternaturally young- looking Tiempo, who is 46, is a highly-acclaimed soloist who has taken to social media to offer an interesting take on Chopin:
