Jeremy Denk is one of the most highly-acclaimed classical pianists of our time. He is also the recipient of a MacArthur “Genius” Award. He will be giving a solo recital at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday.

Included in the program are:  Mozart’s Rondo in A minor, K.511; Prokofiev’s Visions fugitives; Beethoven’s  Sonata No. 30 in E, Op. 109 and Schubert’s Sonata B-flat major D960.

Denk’s most recent recording was of Bach’s Goldberg Variations. Prior to that he recorded works by Ligeti and Beethoven.  In addition to his performance in Beverly Hills, he will be in Fresno on April 27-28 and in Carmel on April 28th.
