You don’t have to worry about practicing now to get to Carnegie Hall because Carnegie Hall is coming to you. With their online series Live with Carnegie Hall you can livestream concerts and conversations with artists across a wide spectrum of the performing arts. Broadway fans will want to tune in on April 14th at 3 PM EDT/12 PM PDT to see Titus Burgess: Live with Carnegie Hall.

Burgess, who appeared in Broadway in The Little Mermaid and a revival of Guys and Dolls, is probably best-known for his role as “Titus Andromedon” on television’s The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Last year he appeared in the film Dolemite Is My Name and voiced the character of “Glenn” in The Addams Family.

An excellent example of what Burgess can do comes from this Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Broadway Backwards concert in 2013 where he takes on the role of “Effie White” in Dreamgirls.

These are wholly unique events taking place specifically for Live with Carnegie Hall. They are not streaming previous concerts.

Joining Burgess for this livestream are Frank DiLella (host of NY1’s On Stage), Jason Robert Brown (Tony Award-winning composer of the musicals The Bridges of Madison County and Parade), and soprano Angel Blue.

To watch Tituss Burgess: Live with Carnegie Hall you need to go to Carnegie Hall’s Facebook or Instagram pages.

We will keep you posted on other Live with Carnegie Hall events.

Update: If you missed the livestream of this event, you can still watch the video on the Carnegie Hall webpage on the “Live with Carnegie Hall” page.
