Several times a year, actor Jeff Goldblum plays piano in residency with The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. This Wednesday marks the end of this current residency for Goldblum at Rockwell Table and Stage.
Goldblum is the anchor of the ensemble at the piano. He’s also the gregarious host who encourages people to come up and sing with the band. He also banters with the audience and flat out enjoys himself while tickling the ivories.
This is much more than a vanity project for an actor wanted to do something different. Goldblum loves jazz. He loves the piano and is pretty damn good at it, too. In short, this is a fun evening for everyone. And no doubt he’ll be back again later this year.l
